Atletico Madrid will look to take advantage of
Barcelona's poor form when they attempt to overturn a 2-1 deficit in
the Champions League quarter-finals.
Luis Enrique's side lead 2-1 on aggregate going into
Wednesday's match at the Vicente Calderon, but have shown they are not
invincible after defeats against Real Sociedad and Real Madrid in the
lastfortnight.
Barcelona's consecutive league defeats have boosted Atletico's chances of winning the Spanish title, and also may have boosted confidence in their camp ahead of Wednesday's European tie.
Diego Simeone's side will be without the suspended Fernando Torres - who picked up a red card in the first leg after scoring just 10 minutes earlier.
Luis Suarez pulled Barcelona level before scoring again to give them the advantage, but Torres is confident his side could have beaten the Spanish giants with 11 men on the field.
Speaking to El Larguero, he said: "I am sure that with 11 we would have won at the Nou Camp.
"I am convinced that the second yellow is not a card, I just felt a mixture of hopelessness and frustration."
